    Brand New Rental!
Stunning oceanfront views, swaying palms, tranquil sounds of the surf.

Close enough to the surf to hear the lapping waves at night, and feel the trades off the water in the afternoons. A small stretch of sandy beach directly in front of the home is largely unknown to our island's visitors, making it a special place to experience -- in the calm mornings, for sun-drenched lounging, or for incredible day's end sunsets.

Enjoy stunning views from the large, open living area, and both beach-facing bedrooms (both with private baths and ocean-facing walk-out sliders).
Remodeled from the ground up in 2007, with new everything, this home is set up to seamlessly host indoor and outdoor living. A gracious kitchen is equipped with every necessity. The bedrooms are nicely separated, and are all en-suite.

Our multi-generational family is wrapping up an amazing stay here in Kihei. The house is gorgeous and we wanted for nothing. Most days we felt as though we had our own private beach! The location allows for long beach walks and short walks to the town centre or for groceries at the nearby supermarket. Thank you to Sherry for taking such good care of us. Mahalo!

    • Great beach access & beautiful sunsets!

Reviewed by Jon S. on February 11, 2017 for their trip during January 2017

We couldn't have been happier with our stay here. We traveled with our toddler and my in-laws and the spot couldn't have been more perfect. It was so easy to walk straight out of the backyard down to the beach and our toddler had plenty of room to run around in the grass and sand. We saw sea turtles at the beach right outside the house everyday and had great stand up paddle boarding access. All the shops and restaurants in Kihei were a short drive away. Watching the sunset from the back patio was one of the best parts of the trip. Would definitely recommend to any family. Only tip would be to make sure to wear shoes in the water for rocks/reef and also shoes in the yard because there are some prickly plants in the neighbors yard.

    • Very nice, private beach-front home in Kihei

Reviewed by Jeff from Seattle on February 06, 2017 for their trip during January 2017

Very much enjoyed our 10-day stay at this lovely home right on the beach in Kihei. We've been coming to Maui for over 30-years and have always stayed in condos, generally in one of the resort areas. So this time we decided to try something completely different and we are glad we did. This is a spacious home that is very nicely furnished. The main living area is open, in a great-room style and very comfortable. You can see and hear the ocean from everywhere in the room. The master bedroom/bath is also very spacious and beautifully finished, with a great view of the ocean. The other two bedrooms are large and comfortable, and each has its own large bath area. The large back patio is well equipped with outdoor furniture and we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the ocean view. The house sits on a quiet street about a block off of South Kihei Road. Driveway parking is adequate. There is a large beach front park about a 10 to 15 minute walk down the street where you can rent paddle-boards, kayaks, etc. It's a pleasant walk along a quiet road and then a nice pathway along the beach in the park. The beach directly in front of the house is sandy and relatively quiet, good for relaxing in the morning sun. (Kihei gets pretty windy sometimes, especially in the afternoons in the winter months.) There were numerous sea turtles to watch, including one who came up on the beach for a nap in the sun. The reef goes quite far out, but there were not many fish so we generally went to other beaches for snorkeling. There is a public beach access path adjacent to the house, but it was lightly used. There is a good golf course about 5 minutes away. We played there twice and took advantage of the lower afternoon rates. Finally, I can't say enough kind things about Sherry Spaise. She is wonderful to work with. We can confidently recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for something other than the big-resort experience.

We stayed at the Kihei Beach House in February and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed. Fresh flowers, island snacks, and an extensive book of hints and suggestions for dining and sightseeing were waiting for us. Very luxurious with hotel like amenities but all the comfort, warmth, charm and conveniences of home. The house had plenty of space and huge bedrooms with private baths. Everything you need from thick beach towels, new washer and dryer, gas grill, two furnished patios, even beach chairs and coolers. Kihei has a great laid back beach town feel- not over commercialized. Everything is vey convenient to the house like grocery stores, fresh fish markets, restaurants, parks and other beach rentals like snorkel equipment and bikes. The house is very quiet being a few blocks off the main roads. The sliding back doors open directly on to the beach just a few steps away and you can hear the waves at night. While all beaches have public access, this location is extremely private. We rarely saw other people except at sunset when the whole town stops what they're doing and heads out to the nearest point to enjoy the spectacular views! Every sunset is unique! The sand is so soft and the water is so clear that swimming is great. The bottom is made up of round rocks so a pair of swim shoes is a good idea. Currently the back yard is sand but just feels like an extension of the beach. Overall this was a spectacular house that made our trip to Maui one we will never forget!

This house is great! The view grabs you from the moment you walk in. Sitting on the back lanai is like looking a postcard. We stopped what we were doing each evening to watch the sun set over the ocean. Beautiful. The house is very well-equipped. Nice towels. Comfortable beds. Plush beach towels and comfy beach chairs. They even have coolers for days spent exploring other beaches. The cabinetry is stunning and kitchen has nice pots and knives. The beach behind the house was like a private beach. We enjoyed watching stingrays and sea turtles swimming right there! Sherry is quick to respond and made booking easy. We also appreciated the welcome flowers and treats. Such a nice touch! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Wish I keep this property a secret and not say anything, but it was a fantastic beach house that I would (and will) recommend to others. Smooth and easy rental transaction, and house was clean, well stocked, and layout was great. Central living area and kitchen were perfect for our group of 7, but big bedrooms, bathrooms and great lanai gave everyone space as well. The location is close to a variety of sandy beaches and restaurants. I agree with another's review that swim shoes are a MUST if you want to go into the ocean behind the house for any length of time. You can walk and swim with sea turtles aplenty but it is pretty rocky on the ocean floor for a long, long way. Backyard is very simple and natural and there was some (very sparse) pedestrian foot traffic along the side of the house, but for the most part felt like we had a private beach - with amazing sunsets included! Great for families and others looking for a true oceanfront property.

This house is beautiful and luxurious. We were all in awe the moment we stepped inside. The decor and appliances are all very modern and well maintained. The entire house is very well stocked with good quality supplies. We cooked dinner (BBQ) the last two evenings and it was wonderful. The views are breathtaking. We have rented many homes for family vacations and this one is at the top of the list. The previous reviews about the beach are all correct. The beach is beautiful, but with some round rocks under the water. We all wore water shoes so it wasn't a problem. The sand on the beach is very soft. Afternoons in Kihei get very windy so spending time on the beach in the mornings is the most comfortable. The public path on the side of the house to the beach was not a problem at all. Watching the sunsets on the beach or from the back of the house are a must. It was very convenient to have Safeway so close by. We also ate at many local restaurants which were all good. One thing we noticed during our stay is that the front bedroom (with the 2 queen beds) gets much warmer than the other rooms in the house. There is a large floor fan in the closet of the bedroom and once we started using that the room was much cooler (but still warmer than the other rooms.) I am not saying this is a negative thing about the house - it is just good to know. Finally working with Sherry was wonderful. She is very helpful and responsive. I absolutely recommend renting this home if you are visiting Maui. You won't regret it!

Owner Response: Thank you, Jady, and we're happy you enjoyed your stay with us! Comfort is of upmost importance to us, so I have assessed the temperature in the second bedroom and determined, as you did, that the fan made all the difference. Even though the ac vents blow cold air in all rooms, with the unusually humid week we had, the fan in that room made it more comfortable with the increased circulation. I appreciate your feedback!

Luxury, luxury, luxury...This House is right on the ocean, there is nothing between the house and the beach except a few tropical birds. The Beach is soft sand, in the water there are rocks so I put on shoes to swim. But that is minor for what the home offers. Huge bedrooms - Private Bathrooms - Kitchen was beautiful. This place is so nice that it was hard to leave. On top of all this Sherry is awesome and kind. Plus all of the details, well none were missed from the booking all the way to the ultra soft toilet paper...

The kitchen is wonderfully stocked, making it easy to cook meals if you choose. The bedrooms are very nicely decorated and the bathrooms are to die for! Overall, the house was very spacious, luxurious and comfortable. You do not want to miss out on this house!

    • Beautiful and Convenient Setting in Kihei

Reviewed by Mike M. from Houston, Texas on January 23, 2016 for their trip during January 2016

This is an exceptionally nice home for families with a large, centralized living space combining the kitchen, living and dining areas, which keeps everyone together. The bedrooms and baths are all very nicely appointed, with the guest bedrooms both having twin beds which was very convenient for the size of our group. The quality of the baths far exceeds many luxury hotels. The kitchen had everything needed and having a washer/dryer is a real plus enabling us to pack light for the trip. It was a surprising plus to find beach chairs and umbrellas onsite to enjoy on the lovely beach just steps away from the back yard. Very nearby you will find multiple grocery stores, the best option being Safeway which is only about 1 mile away. Shops, restaurants and your choice of additional beaches are all very nearby. We absolutely loved the home and would make coffee and go outside each morning to enjoy the placid ocean view and marvel at how happy we were to have selected this property for our vacation. I only have a couple of comments to help give a full perspective on the property. 1) Be aware that there is a public path to the beach along one side of the property and there is occasional foot traffic with people accessing the beach. We did not find this troublesome and enjoyed greeting those who passed by. 2) The beach immediately behind the home is not the best swimming spot but it is a fantastic viewing location. Better swimming beaches are just down the road. 3) The backyard of the property is lacking grass and the property would be much more lush if covered in grass. (I think this property is newly acquired and they appear to be working hard to make this a stellar location and I am sure the grass issue will be addressed). I am hesitant to add those additional comments because I would not want them to prevent anyone from renting this exceptional property. These are very minor issues which do not detract from the property. The bottom line is that we loved our stay, we were sad to leave the property, and we would not hesitate to book here again.

Owner Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback, as we always strive to ensure our guests have the best possible Maui experience. We purchased our home just this last year and are constantly making improvements to the interior and exterior and have plans to add natural landscaping while protecting the habitat of our endangered green sea turtles that nest there. Our beach is perfect for sunbathing, viewing our famous sunsets, and best for snorkeling as there is a large coral reef just offshore. Larger beaches and a family friendly beach park can be found just a few blocks south.
